Final Transmission Unlocked

When key words from the location clues were entered in order , they unlocked the last video! Thanks to everyone that helped unlock them - watch Maya's final transmission on the site. Let's hope we can change our world for the better, for our grandchildren - and Maya's - sake...

Time Capsule Party in Copenhagen!

The live event in Copenhagen was a huge success! We saw some of the letters that went in the time capsule, heard from our supporters, and some climate change activists, locked the capsule, and then it was time to celebrate - with a number of fantastic performers - Nabiha, Dokkedal/Dixon, Flowjob, and of course Thure Lindhardt presenting the love letters.

City Clues

From each of the cities we seem to be finding phone numbers that give us a message and a key word clue -it appears that they need to be added in order to unlock the final video:

We have a number of clues and key words discovered so far in various locations that match the coordinates.

In Amsterdam:
The number is 020-203-1120. Here's the message:

We don't have a transcription of this message, but thanks to those over at the Unfiction forum, we found out the key word is "Window"

In Rotterdam:

She loved the STATIC big bushy tails and the way that the STATIC would leap nimbly from branch to branch as they stole acorns and seeds from one another. What have I missed? What have I missed?"

In Toronto:

The number is 905-248-3006. This was the message:

"(*static sound*)When I was small my grandmother would wrap me in a warm (*static sound*) when I was cold. She would tell me stories about how snow used to cover the earth like a heavy down filled (*static sound*). That no longer happens not since I've been alive. Feet on the ground

The newest video that has been unlocked displays the phrase : feet on the ground. When you search for this on the site, you see a series of letters with images and what appears to be coordinates...do you know which locations these point to?

When you search for Maha-Amba you get a new video.What is Maya dreaming about? here is the transcription:

I stand next to a clock tower, it looks proper and British like Big Ben and seems out of place as the salty breeze from the Arabian Sea curls around it. I walk north. I stop in the middle of a triangular green. I breathe in and listen to cricket sound. A man strikes up a conversation, but as we progress beyond greetings, I see my breath in a cloud in front of me, and realize that I am now much farther from the Equator. I am talking with Alan again. It feels as though we are close friends, although I do not know him in waking life. Perhaps it is because he always wants to help. Below is the transcription - what do you think she saw in her dream?

As a child I read histories and fictions. Anything that I could get my hands on. I was inspired by my grandmother. First I read about what it was like when she was small. That's your time. Then I read further back. All of the stories seem so disconnected from my time now. Like fairy tales. As I lay in bed at night, in that state between dream and wakefulness, they would merge together. It still happens. Even more now that I am more widely read. Maybe it is a way of escaping. Maybe they are meaningless. Let me tell you about my dream last night, perhaps you can figure out what monuments I imagined.

I was walking through Byzantium under a single star and crescent moon. It was empty, nothing moved. I passed a tall column, free standing. I squinted up at the top and thought I saw a sun god, but it could have just been glare of the light. I continued walking southeast, expecting to find chariots, and the sounds of horses' hooves. Instead, I stepped into another place-- a far away capital, once inhabited by Algonquins, the Nacotchtank. They were long gone in the place that I walked. I walked towards a frozen woman astride a horse. She was atop a plinth along L'Enfant's Longitude.

Flower clue

The new code word brings up a message involving flowers. What do you make of the white markings on the top left and bottom right of the image? Does anyone know a flower code that these might be part of ? Or what they symbolize?

Latest Clue

Wow- the last video was unlocked really quickly! Here is the newest clue...

The newest video shows this clue at the end - the symbol of a snake swallowing it's own tail. Traditionally it's called an Ouroborus or Uroborus. When you put "ouroborus" into the search bar you get the next clue!

When the newest key word "mores" from the video is put in the search box on the site, it takes you to this letter. In the video the eye blinks a number of times at different intervals, creating a sequence or series of blinks.

A message from the year 2109 has been received on the loveletterstothefuture.com site however it appears it is encrypted and needs to be unlocked.

It seems possible that your Love Letters, to be sent in the Time Capsule on Dec 13, 2009, have reached the future. The Time capsule was opened – and now someone is answering us back in this message!

There are signs that a number of clues planted on the site hold the key to unlock this message. We believe that this message may provide evidence of the world as it is in 2109…
